Born in the UK and moved to Australia twenty years ago after spending time working in Saudi Arabia. I studied marketing at the University of Newcastle, earning a master’s degree and proceeded to work in the fast-moving worlds of technology and advertising. Passionate about nurturing emerging innovative talent, the eventual move to The Business Centre was a natural fit. In my free time, I founded The Lunaticks Society, an incorporate association dedicated to championing new ideas, new thinking and conversation, based on the Lunar Society of Birmingham, which was founded in the Industrial Revolution. Also I find time to be the Executive Producer of Lunaticks LIVE, a live streamed tech show and Puddling Process, a smart cities podcast, as well as Event Director for the annual NEWi Awards for Digital Creativity.
